Specialising in Miscarriage stillbirth & baby loss

I specialise in helping people who have suffered from miscarriage, still birth and baby loss.

Are you are searching for a warm, genuine and easy to talk to online counsellor with availability right now?  My expertise is in helping people suffering with miscarriage/baby loss and the grief that accompanies this loss. I can offer you your first session within 1-2 days.

I totally understand that this is a very traumatic time for you following your miscarriage. You have all of these overwhelming feelings that are difficult to manage and cope with day to day.

You may find it difficult to be understood by others around you. You may find it difficult to talk to people close to you or to friends. Perhaps you feel lonely and isolated with your feelings whilst the world around you just carries on...

You wonder how you are going to get through this and stop feeling so wretched.....

Welcome, I am Louise!.....I have over 12 years of experience and I specialise in: Miscarriage, baby loss and still birth

By you and I working together, your values, needs and preferences that are unique to you are respected. They are central to your therapy. In your sessions with me you will be supported and understood. Your sessions will be at your pace. This is your time to talk through and make sense of your thoughts and feelings and get support through this incredibly difficult time.

  • You may struggle with overwhelming feelings of worry, fear, sadness or hopelessness and feel like you are losing the ability to control your thoughts and feelings.

  • You may find you are retreating within yourself as you are not being understood or just feel you are not getting the support you need.

  • You see everyone else carrying on as normal and thats difficult to cope with.

  • You might feel isolated and lonely as no one understands whats its really like being you.

  • You just don't know how to be around friends, family or work colleagues or how to manage how you feel in these situations.

  • You feel confused about your miscarriage or baby loss and struggle to understand why it happened.

  • You might feel (what you consider) unpleasant feelings towards pregnant women.

I will work with you to:

  • Help you to understand your thoughts and feelings.

  • Help you to make sense of your loss.

  • Help you to explore and find your way of remembering your baby.

  • Work with you to express and work through your grief and loss

  • Provide a genuine supportive counselling relationship that helps you to come to terms with your loss on your terms in your own time.

Counselling promotes change in the way you think and feel.

I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to find out how therapy might work for you.

Session cost: 1 hour: £50

From time to time I have low cost counselling spaces available, please ask.

I offer online or telephone counselling for anyone (adults) in the U.K

For information about what you can expect In sessions with me, see the "What I offer"  page.

I understand how it can be a very confusing time trying to understand how counselling might work for you and also a daunting prospect to place your trust in a complete stranger. Many of my clients are very nervous at first contact.

When looking for a counsellor it can be overwhelming  when deciding how to choose the right counsellor for you. Click on the green button below for my guide on what you may want to consider when choosing a counsellor.

You may have had counselling before and have some idea of what to expect or maybe this is all very new. I have worked for many years with clients, some have had counselling before and some clients are so nervous they almost don't make the first session!

It doesn't matter who we are or what we do, sometimes we reach a point where we feel unable to cope. Feelings of despair, anxiety or hopelessness can overcome us and it can be difficult to see a way out.
